Generous Supporters

The Advance One Room School No. 7 is over 130 years old.

Imagine the initial renovations to the building and landscape, its furnishings and educational materials. Don't forget keeping up with repairs and stocks of items or paying monthly utilities and other bills. Volunteers need training and others create schedules and organize field trips, too.

All of it began with love and endures because of love.

It also requires money and labor.

The following are some of the generous supporters of the Advance School. We could not have done it without their help, nor could we continue to keep the project alive.

Thank you.

The Turner Foundation

Through grants, two of the School's largest contributors,
the Turner Foundation and the Springfield Foundation,
are represented with these two bricks that now have been hung

inside the front door to the Advance School.

Buy-a-Brick Program
For $75 dollars, CCRTA members and friends can purchase
a brick with an engraved message or dedication
of their choosing.

Engraved bricks create an apron in front
of the flagpole toward the back of the
school and by the circular drive.

Annual Hot Rod Cruise-In at Young's Jersey Dairy

Set in October across from Young's Jersey Dairy
by Yellow Springs, the CCRTA Cruise-In brings in over 200
hot rods. Plaques and trophies award the best; raffles and
silent auction items tantalize the visitors. Registration
fees and sales help fund the one room school.

CCRTA volunteers work tirelessly but enjoy the opportunity
to raise money to support the Advance One Room School.
